Cave of the Winds

A "one-of-a-kind" southern Colorado attraction, Cave of the Winds is preserves some of the most dazzling natural caves and rock formations around Colorado Springs. The cave was discovered in the late 1800s and has been a must-see Colorado attraction ever since.

The limestone stalactites, stalagmites and flowstone - frozen waterfalls - are the among the wonderful formations visible in the cavern. The Discovery Tour, Lantern Tour and the new Eco/Venture Tour – an evening tour led by flashlight – offer wonderful opportunities to explore this subterranean wonder in the Rocky Mountains.
