Colorado State Fair
First held in 1869, the Colorado State Fair still takes place every year in Pueblo, Colorado, at the Colorado State Fairgrounds located in the southern region of the state, near the Four Corners. The Fair began as a horse exhibition and has grown into the largest event of its kind in the state of Colorado.
The Fair is held in late summer, the last week of August through the first week of September, for optimal weather conditions as many activities take place outdoors. Fairgoers enjoy rides from traditional to specialty rides, a ventriloquist, art show, pole vaulting, and much more.
