Denver Metro Area Events
Annual Cinco de Mayo Festival and Parade
Over 400,000 are expected to attend this celebration of Denver's Latino culture. Festival starts at 10 a.m. in Civic Center Park.
Boulder Creek Festival
The unofficial kickoff to summer in Boulder features over 500 vendors, carnival rides, activities, food, live music, entertainment and a rubber duck race. Event takes place along the Boulder Creek corridor.
39th Annual Territory Days
Located in Colorado Springs's historic Old Colorado City, this festival celebrates the "Old West" with music, food, fun, and entertainment for the whole family. Festival starts at 10 a.m.
Elephant Rock Cycling Festival
Cycling enthusiasts complete the annual pilgrimage to Caste Rock. All rides start and finish at the Douglas County Fair Grounds. Post ride picnic and cycling expo also provided.
KidSpree @ Yumfest
With more than 60 hands-on activities and entertainers, this outdoor festivals thrills kids and parents alike. Held at Aurora's Bicentennial Park.
Frisco BBQ Challenge
Top shelf BBQ'ers meet and compete for titles, awards, and overall deliciousness. Don't miss out on this event, which starts at 9 a.m. in downtown Frisco.
Cherry Creek Arts Festival
This world class festival of exhibits, art and culinary demonstrations, and interactive family activities attracts over 350,000 visitors at Denver's Cherry Creek North Shopping District.
Northern Colorado Events
Colorado Brewers' Festival
Beer lovers can sample Colorado's best brews, hold conversations with local brewers, and enjoy food and music. Held in downtown Fort Collins.
Families can get up close and personal with wool-bearing animals of all types. Activities and shopping in all things wool also included. Event takes place at Stanley Park in Estes Park.
Logan County Fair and Rodeo
Concessions, carnival, exhibits, parade, livestock sales, and grandstand rodeo events make up the fun at Sterling's Logan County Fairgrounds.
Moffat County Hot Air Balloon Festival
Two balloon launches, a balloon glow, kite flying and pie eating contests and a free concert make up this family friendly festival. Held at Craig's Loudy Simpson Park.
Palisade Peach Festival
Everything is just peachy for visitors here. Festival includes wide array of peach flavored products along with activities and entertainment. Festival takes place at Palisade's Riverbend Park, near Grand Junction.

Verne Witham Annual Pancake Breakfast
Eat your heart out to kick off the summer season. Pancakes, sausages, juice, coffee, and downtown shopping await at the 900 block of Manitou Ave. in Manitou Springs. Breakfast starts at 8 a.m.
Cinco de Mayo Visit the plaza at Gazpacho’s in Downtown Durango for this fun festival full of good food, live music, and family fun. The festivities begin at 5 p.m.
Outdoor Movie Night Watch Mike and Sulley as they compete in the Scare Games in the movie Monsters University at Three Springs Plaza. The show begins at 8:30 p.m.

Dinosaur Train Bring the kiddos out to the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad for this fun and educational event that combines two kid favorites, dinos and trains! Straight from the imagination of Jim Henson this event is sure to thrill. The train departs at 10 a.m., 11:15 a.m., and 12:30 p.m.
Durango Fiesta Days The Durango Fairgrounds fill with citizens celebrating their great Spanish and Native American history as well as their ranching history. There will be a rodeo, parade, chuck wagon cook-off, and a pancake breakfast. Event times vary per day.
Music in the Mountains Throughout towns in southwestern Colorado world-renowned musicians perform and delight audiences. Times and venues vary.
Rolling for Freedom
Walsenburg hosts this motorcycle ride to honor Colorado Veterans. Food, drinks, prizes, and entertainment included. Event starts at 9 a.m.
Railfest Enjoy train rides and watch the World Fast Draw Association shoot-out competition and other western-style events. Event times vary.
20th Annual Chile & Frijoles Festival
Farmers' market, chile roasting, arts and crafts, kids' activities, and live music on hand to celebrate Pueblo's greatest crop: the chile. Festival can be found at the Union Avenue Historic District
