Individuals and teams join in the fun to benefit the local Dumb Friends League. The event is a two mile walk raising funds for animals. Speaking of pets, the Barkin' Dog Duathlon will be held May 8th. In its 12 year it claims to be the most popular duathlon in the western US. For serious duathletes, this event is the first of the Mile-High Duathlon Series featuring three area run-bike-run events.

For a unique event, Denver's Buskerfest will be held in June. Drawing a blank? - Street performers from across the globe will converge Downtown on 16th street mall to perform.
